Assistant
The Pontifical College Josephinum is accepting applications
for the position of Database Administrator / Administrative
Assistant. This multi-faceted position in the Josephinum
Advancement Office requires flexibility and a breadth
of experience. To fulfill tasks related to the administration
of the department’s database, more than basic
knowledge of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge
software system is required. In addition to
data entry, the database administrator must be capable
of analyzing the database through the use of reports
and queries, so as to assure quality control and
integrity of the system. The ability to develop
and improve software protocols and procedures for
gift processing, attributes, categories, and events
will be necessary. As the administrative assistant
for the department, secretarial and receptionist
skills are also required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: Gift
processing, acknowledgements, and pledge reminders;
Creation and maintenance of accurate constituent
records; Preparation of database lists; Printing
and mailing of departmental publications and correspondence;
Development and implementation of regular quality
control checks of the integrity of the database through
system updates and reports; Recording of minutes
of departmental, alumni, and benefactor meetings;
Assistance with departmental projects and events.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of
3 years experience in Raiser’s Edge software.
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
