Wedding Receptions at the Jessing
Center
Celebrate your extraordinary day at the
Jessing Center at the Pontifical College Josephinum, where grace and
elegance are a natural part of this historic landmark. Built in 1938,
the center offers more than a location for your reception. Beautifully
maintained grounds, majestic brick towers and stately evergreens create
a serene, park-like setting – a perfect atmosphere for outdoor
photographs or mingling with guests.
Wedding reception services:
• Set-up of the room to your specifications
• Tables, chairs, and linens: Round tables that seat up to eight
persons; solid wood, cloth upholstered chairs; crisp white linens and
table skirting.
• China, glassware, flatware, champagne flutes
• Professional, uniformed wait staff
• Professional bartender and bar set-up (Please note we are not
licensed to sell alcohol. We will gladly serve the beverages you provide).
• Cake cutting and serving
• Dance floor
• Table numbers
• Centerpieces available
The Wedding Reception fee is $2500. There
are no hidden fees, bar fees or corkage fees. What is more, no other
function will be booked on the day of your reception. The center is
yours for the entire day, so you and your guests can relax and enjoy
the celebration.
Catering
Fine dining for wedding receptions is provided by Mass
Appeal Dining Services, Inc. With over 20 years of catering experience, Mass Appeal
will provide delicious meals and exquisite service that will make your
day a memorable experience for you and your guests. Appetizer and dinner
selections may be viewed online.
Accommodations
The Jessing Center is located minutes from a multitude of national-chain
hotels, many of which offer special rates for wedding guests.
Photography
Although the Jessing Center is situated on the private property of the
Pontifical College Josephinum, you and your photographer are free to
take photos anywhere in the Center and on the grounds immediately surrounding
it. The majestic tower and 1930s masonry offer a unique and unparalleled
backdrop for your captured memories.
