Would you like to learn more about seminary life?

Twice during the academic year, the Josephinum hosts a Live-In weekend. High school juniors and seniors and college students are invited to join in the rhythm of seminary life by experiencing the daily horarium of liturgical services and classes. Time is available to meet college seminarians, faculty and staff. There is no cost for the Live-In weekend; the program is limited to 20 participants.

2009-10 Live-In Weekends:
Fall Live-In: October 22-24, 2009
Spring Live-In: April 15-17, 2010
College Day: February 15, 2009

Is God calling you?

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor” (Lk. 4:18). Christ’s words are a reminder that the Holy Spirit is within you and that you may be called to spread the Word of God.

Are you thinking about seminary life or entering a religious order?

If you are considering a vocation, visit a seminary campus or a religious order: you’ll be motivated and encouraged by the people you meet there. Ask your parish priest or your diocesan offices to give you the name of a contact who can help make these arrangements.

What is formation?

In the journey toward the priesthood, there are four pillars of formation: spiritual, human, intellectual and pastoral. Seminarians strive to imitate Christ in each area, forming their lives in the image of Christ.
