The Josephinum is a
self-supporting seminary – it does not receive funding
from Vatican, nor is it under the financial
sponsorship of any one diocese. So the Josephinum not
only welcomes the financial support of benefactors and
friends – it depends on that support to meet practical
needs.
To remain competitive, the
Josephinum must keep tuition costs in check. Its fees,
however, cover only 57% of the actual cost of
educating a seminarian.
You are invited to share in the
responsibility of supporting vocations by helping to
bridge the “gap.” In order to provide every seminarian
with the formation required of his vocation, the gap
must be filled, one year or one day at a time. No gift
is too small, and many gifts add up to a very
significant donation to the future of our Church.
