Financial Aid Program

The primary purpose of the Financial Aid Program is to assist qualified students with limited financial resources to attend. The Pontifical College Josephinum offers a wide variety of scholarships, grants, loans, and work opportunities to new and continuing students.

Financial Aid Application Process

The Josephinum will work with each student and his family to assess individual need and to create a financial aid package which will assist every qualified candidate to participate in our program. Review our application process ahead of time to best understand how to go about it.

TOEFL

The Test of English as a Foreign Language is designed for non-native English speakers to better understand their capabilities to learn. Non-native speakers must take the exam within six months of applying.

Federal & State Aid

Federal funds are, by statute, awarded solely on the basis of financial need as determined by a federally approved needs analysis system. These funds are available to as many qualified students as funding will allow. There are also a variety of statewide financial aid options.

Scholarships

The Josephinum has a considerable number of scholarships available to students, many of them in recognition of important supports and alumni of our institution. GPA, class rank, test scores, financial need, and contribution to the community are among the criteria for various theological scholarships.
