Bachelor of Arts

Philosophy & the Discipleship Stage

The College of Liberal Arts offers the Bachelor of Arts Degree in accordance with the Church’s expectation that seminarians be formed in the liberal arts and instructed in the discipline of philosophy. As part of the Discipleship Stage of priestly formation, the BA degree helps seminarians to open their minds to the mystery of Christ, to acquire wisdom in study, and to recognize the dignity of the human person rooted in the call to communion with God.
